Job Description

As a Mass Spectrometry Proteomics Scientist (Research Associate in Chemical Proteomics) at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you will bring scientific knowledge and skills to deliver a specific research project.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out analytical procedures for proteome characterisation with high precision.
- Analyse and interpret quantitative proteomic data with statistical rigour.
- Help devise proteomic methodologies (sample preparation, LC, MS).
- Act as a source of information to other group members.
- Assist with laboratory maintenance of nanoLCs, liquid handlers, MS equipment.
- Work with proteomics facility for equipment upkeep.
- Liaise with support staff and engineers for servicing.
- Collaborate with researchers and contribute to projects.
- Publish research articles and present at conferences.
- Supervise students and support public engagement.
