Location: Hyde, Greater Manchester, North West England
Salary: £38,000 to £40,000 per annum + Benefits
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 0800-1700 Monday to Friday (60 minutes unpaid lunch)

Job Description
A varied, hands-on role supporting facilities maintenance, building services and repair work across factory and office environments, ensuring safe, efficient and well-maintained operations. If you’ve also worked in the following roles, we’d also like to hear from you: Facilities Technician, Maintenance Technician, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Building Maintenance Technician, Multi Skilled Engineer, Facilities Maintenance Engineer, Building Services Engineer, Building Engineer.
Duties
- Joinery Work: Carry out repairs and installations within factory and office environments
- Building Alterations: Support layout changes and improvements to existing structures
- Equipment Repairs: Maintain and repair miscellaneous machinery and site equipment
- Plumbing Tasks: Perform basic plumbing repairs and improvements across all areas
- Plastering and Decorating: Complete plastering, painting and finishing work
- General Maintenance: Undertake a wide range of building and facilities maintenance tasks
- Jig Fabrication: Design and produce jigs to support operational needs
- Tiling Work: Install and repair wall and floor tiling as required
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Relevant Trade Qualification: Advanced craft qualification in joinery, plumbing or building
- Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence
- Maintenance Experience: Previous experience in a building maintenance, facilities maintenance or similar role
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality of work
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to take accurate measurements and calculations
- Problem Solving: Creative approach with a good eye for design and improvement
- Independent Working: Able to work alone without supervision
- Teamwork: Works effectively as part of a collaborative team
