Senior Town Planner
- Location: Gatwick, West Sussex, United Kingdom
- Salary: £35,000-£45,000 per annum
- Type: Permanent, Hybrid

The Role
As a Senior Town Planner, you will:
- Lead and manage a varied caseload of planning applications and appeals
- Provide clear, strategic planning advice to a broad client base
- Prepare planning statements, site appraisals, and supporting documentation
- Manage client relationships and act as a key point of contact
- Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Contribute to business development and company growth initiatives
Projects span residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
About You
- MRTPI qualification (or working towards)
- A minimum of 5+ years' experience in either private consultancy or local authority
- Strong working knowledge of the UK planning system
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Proven experience managing projects independently
- Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
- A proactive and collaborative mindset
