Security Analyst
Location: Remote (Europe-based) | On-site Requirement: 2 times per year in Belgium | Contract
About the Role
We are currently looking for three Security Analysts to join a dynamic cybersecurity team working on security incident management and SIEM activities. This is a fully remote position across Europe, with limited on-site presence in Belgium (twice per year). The role is operational and hands-on, focused on day-to-day cybersecurity activities rather than strategic or managerial responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents
- Participate in Security Incident Management processes
- Work with SIEM tools to analyze and investigate alerts
- Identify and assess vulnerabilities in systems and infrastructure
- Support incident response and remediation activities
- Contribute to improving detection rules and security processes
- Collaborate closely with the security team and stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in security incident handling, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity operations
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, etc.)
- Strong understanding of security incidents and response processes, vulnerability analysis and remediation
- Experience in operational security roles (SOC, incident response, etc.)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Mandatory Requirements
- Active Security Clearance (required)
- Based in Europe
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
