Description

The role will focus on the assessment and determination of planning applications, including householder, local, and minor developments, ensuring compliance with the Development Plan and relevant [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] planning policy. You will also contribute to pre-application discussions, provide professional advice to applicants and stakeholders, and support the delivery of high-quality planning decisions within statutory timeframes.

You will be responsible for preparing delegated reports, managing a caseload of applications, and liaising with internal consultees, external agencies, and members of the public. There may also be opportunities to assist with enforcement matters and contribute to policy-related work where required.
