Trading Standards Officer

This is a hands-on role suited to officers who are confident managing a varied Trading Standards caseload and supporting core regulatory functions.
You will work as part of the Trading Standards team, delivering frontline enforcement and advisory work.

The Role
You will work as part of the Trading Standards team, delivering frontline enforcement and advisory work, including:
- Investigating and enforcing Trading Standards legislation
- Dealing with consumer protection, unfair trading, and business compliance issues
- Conducting inspections, investigations, and evidence gathering
- Preparing case files and supporting formal enforcement action where required
- Providing advice to businesses and consumers
- Working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
*Experience in Food Standards is desirable but not essential.*
