Head of Finance

Overview

We are working with a well‑established, international manufacturing business based in [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], seeking an experienced [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] to lead its European finance function. This is a senior, highly visible leadership role with full ownership of financial strategy, reporting, and performance across multiple entities and currencies.

This opportunity is suited to a commercially driven finance leader with deep manufacturing experience and a proven track record operating at board level.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy across multiple European entities
• Deliver accurate budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Drive cost control, margin improvement, and operational efficiency
• Provide strategic financial insight to senior leadership and the board
• Oversee multi‑currency P&L and balance sheet responsibility
• Support investment decisions, CapEx, and M&A activity
• Ensure strong governance, compliance, and risk management

Candidate Profile

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA or equivalent)
• 10+ years’ senior finance leadership experience
• Strong background in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Proven multi‑entity and multi‑currency finance expertise
• Hands‑on approach with strong commercial and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience
