About the Role

The Studio Coordinator role supports the administration and management of our core Studios and multi-purpose Teaching Spaces across both our Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes and sites. Working in collaboration with both the core UG and PG Studio Coordinator Leads, Heads of UG and PG Programme Leads, Head of School, and Senior Leadership Team, the role holder will ensure Studios and School Teaching Spaces are appropriate for use and that they provide a safe and vibrant place for our student and staff community to grow. The Studio Coordinator also works closely with the Workshop/Lab Leads, and UG and PG Show Coordinators to support the School’s public-facing events that showcase our students and programmes. The role also includes planning for refurbishments and improvements for the new year and liaison with Estates and Information Technology about space and equipment.

About the Candidate

You should have prior experience in studio co-ordination, estates organisation, or planning. You will be able to work as a member of a team, whilst also exhibiting the ability to take initiative in resolving issues directly connected to the organisation and management of our studio and teaching spaces. You will ideally have some prior experience of working in an educational environment and be able to engage with student requirements and concerns in the context of the role.
