Job Description
- Monitoring and evaluating of monthly expenditure
- Provide the Accounts Team with financial data required for budget management and analysis.
- Post petty cash, credit card expenses, and bank reconciliations.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and staff throughout the College.
- Support the Finance Administrator in the preparation of the annual budget, management accounts and other financial reports.
- Assist with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies
Job Requirements
Candidates must have attained a Master’s degree in Accountancy or a related professional qualification such as ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA etc with 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance or a related discipline with professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA) and 5 years of cognate experience in a finance environment. Other skills required are:
- Above average IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages and a good understanding of databases and spreadsheets.
- Ability to remain focused and deliver under tight timelines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to explain financial processes to students and non-financial staff.
