About The Role

As a Senior Specialist Legal Editor in [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you will use your specialist legal knowledge of, and experience in, public procurement and public sector law and practice to create and maintain a wide range of content and to support the development of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] AI-powered legal solutions. Working in a supportive team of highly experienced colleagues, you will deal with a breadth of interesting work.

Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Research, write and maintain clear, current, and practical legal content aligned with market practice and customer needs, and business objectives.
  • Review and edit content written by others, whether by colleagues or external expert contributors.
  • Keep up to date with legal, practice and market developments to ensure content remains accurate, relevant and aligned with business objectives.
  • Use your legal expertise to support the development of customer-focused [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]' AI-powered legal solutions.
  • Use your legal expertise and editorial skills to support the development and application of internal AI editorial tools.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with lawyers and industry groups to ensure content reflects current market practice.
  • Use your specialist legal knowledge to assist the wider [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] team, working with product management, sales, marketing, and technology functions where necessary.

About You

You're a fit for the role if you are a UK qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive and have:

  • Substantial post-qualification experience working as a public sector lawyer in a law firm, in-house or at the bar in the UK.
  • Extensive experience of public procurement law and practice.
  • A good knowledge of administrative and constitutional law (legislative practice, public sector duties and decision-making).
  • Strong writing skills, and a passion for writing about legal practice accurately, concisely and in plain English.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively independently and in teams.
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to effectively utilise various tools, including generative AI technologies, to enhance productivity and accuracy.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work on diverse projects and tasks within the generative AI space as well as new and emerging technologies.
  • A curious mindset, including about the increasing intersection of AI and legal practice, adaptable and open to change.
  • Experience of using AI tools in legal work.
