The Vacancy

The role of the Real Estate Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) is to support our team of 130+ real estate lawyers across our offices in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Belfast. The PSL will drive excellence in legal service delivery and play a pivotal role in building and nurturing relationships with clients, colleagues and external suppliers. The PSL will combine deep legal expertise with a strategic mindset to identify and capitalise on opportunities, enhance client engagement, and drive sustainable growth for the firm.

Responsibilities

• Professional Development and Mentorship: Champion a culture of continuous learning, design and deliver training programs, provide strategic mentorship, coordinate training sessions, and collaborate with practice group leaders.
• Knowledge Management Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive knowledge management strategy, drive creation of cutting-edge resources including AI tools and legal databases.
• Precedent/Template Documents: Review, update and maintain the team's precedent bank, develop a core suite of standardised high-quality precedents.
• Document Automation and AI Integration: Lead assessment and implementation of technology solutions including document automation and AI to streamline workflows.
• Strategic Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct research to identify emerging trends, opportunities and risks in the Real Estate Transactional landscape.

Experience and Knowledge

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with distinguished track record in commercial law.
• Proven expertise in real estate practice area.
• Extensive experience in knowledge management, precedent drafting, document automation, AI integration, technology innovation and strategic legal research.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
