Sales and Design Consultant (Maternity Cover) – Sutton Coldfield (Full time)

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a fast-growing, independent furniture retailer. Our Head Office is based in the beautiful West Sussex countryside in a converted dairy, and we have a network of 26 showrooms nationwide.

Job Description

As a Sales and Design Consultant, you would advise customers on choosing their ideal sofa, which involves patience, creativity and a great personality. You would have a flair for putting colour schemes together in the Showroom and have a natural instinct to treat customers to the highest level of Customer Service.

Requirements

  • Outgoing personality who enjoys talking to people, ideally from a strong retail background
  • Great communication skills, well presented, positive attitude
  • Sound administration skills and computer literacy
  • Experience in sales and ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
  • Flexibility to work weekends (5 days out of 7)
  • Previous interior design experience strongly beneficial but not essential

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Temporary. Contract length: 12 months. Work Location: In person.
