Job Description
We are looking to appoint an inspirational teacher to join us at our College. This is a full-time, permanent position and due to commence August 2026.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher to join our team. You will play a key role in delivering a differentiated and engaging curriculum, supporting students’ academic and personal development, and contributing to the wider life of the college.

- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences across a range of age groups and needs.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress to ensure continuous improvement.
- Lead by example in behaviour management and professional standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum continuity and innovation.
- Create a communication-friendly classroom environment that supports all learners.
- Use ICT effectively to enhance learning.
- Participate in community events, parent/carer evenings, and liaise with external agencies.
What We’re Looking For
Candidates will need the following experience and qualities:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status and a relevant degree.
- Has experience across Post-16, Secondary, Primary or EYFS settings.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Has a strong understanding of inclusive education and SEN.
- Is resilient, flexible, and enthusiastic about working with children.
- Is willing to undertake ongoing professional development, including Team Teach and First Aid training.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience working with pupils with Communication & Interaction Difficulties.
- A qualification in Special Educational Needs.
- Experience in line management.
- A sense of humour and a positive, problem-solving attitude.
- Experience of teaching at a special school setting (desirable).
- Evidence of being an excellent classroom teacher (essential).
- Ambition to teach special education to the highest level (essential).
