Job Description

Foundation Phase Class Teacher: Full-Time and permanent. Post No: ED50208933. Required for 1st September 2026 or as soon after as possible. Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated teacher to build on the school’s many strengths and high standards.

• Is a classroom practitioner with high expectations for every child
• Is committed to high-quality Foundation Phase pedagogy and improving outcomes for younger pupils
• Can effectively lead and deploy a team of classroom staff to maximise pupil progress
• Builds positive relationships and manages behaviour effectively
• Uses ICT purposefully to enhance teaching and learning
• Communicates clearly and works in strong partnership with parents, staff, governors and the wider community
• Is proactive, adaptable and fully committed to all aspects of school life
