Key Responsibilities
- Ensure commitment to incident free operations is maintained.
- Develop a detailed knowledge of the subsea, process plant, and controls, including their function and operation, as specified and described in the operating procedures.
- Safely and efficiently operate process systems either in support of the Central Control Room Operators or from equipment local panels, monitor plant conditions and respond correctly to alarm conditions.
- Responsible for completing verification assurance and routine maintenance activities and maintaining quality records.
- Maintain proper process plant records, log sheets and equipment running data sheets, recognise readings outside specified values and inform the Production Supervisor should these occur.

Minimum Requirements
- N/SVQ Level 3 Processing Operations (Hydrocarbons) or equivalent
- Ability to read and work from engineering/vendor drawings including P&ID’s and Cause & Effects.
- Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate safe working practices. Good knowledge of permit to work system, isolations, inhibits.
- Knowledge through a recognised qualification of fluid and gas mechanics or oil and gas industry related discipline
- Good knowledge of well operations (ideally subsea), flowline and plant systems, processes and operating parameters.
- Experience of process operations.
