Senior Accountant / Accountant General Ledger

The Senior Accountant / Accountant General Ledger role at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Group involves preparing monthly financial statements, managing accounting operations (A/R, A/P, GL), executing month-end closures, ensuring quality control, and assisting with tax computations. Requires CA/ACCA membership or final level, degree in finance, 2-3 years experience in practice/audit, IFRS knowledge, ERP experience (Oracle, HFM), and advanced Excel skills.

The Role

Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
Involve in all accounting operations including, A/R, A/P & GL.
Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end closure processes
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
Work closely with the Finance Manager / Financial Controller & client teams
Assist in training of new staff
Prepare and finalise periodic VAT, WHT and corporate tax computations

The Person

Member of or final level student of CA/ACCA
Degree in finance and commerce stream would be an added qualification/preferred
have a minimum 2-3 years experience in practice/audit sector
IFRS Working knowledge
Experience working with reputed ERP systems. Working knowledge of Oracle and HFM is preferred
Advance Excel skills
Ability and willingness to work based on client calendar and working hours
Fluency in English, both written and verbal
Age between 25 -40
