Activities Volunteer

About the Role
We are looking for an Activities Volunteer to run activities at our complex supported living service in Manchester, bringing our residents together. Volunteering with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of people with support needs while working alongside our team to deliver truly person‑centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult people we support to plan engaging activities in line with their interests
- Prepare for activities including set-up, moving tables and chairs if necessary
- Lead activity sessions, engaging with people we support
- Tidy up after activities, returning the room to normal
- Report any safeguarding concerns to [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] staff members
- Understand and work within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Policies and procedures, respecting boundaries
- Attend regular supervisions with your allocated volunteer supervisor and complete any training provided
Requirements
You must be patient, kind and compassionate. This role is a great opportunity to develop strong communication and leadership skills and gain experience planning and facilitating group activities.
