Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate individual to join our dedicated staff team at our Birmingham services as a Relief Support Worker. As a member of our team, you will support people with learning disabilities in achieving their life goals and integrating into the local community. If you are passionate about making a positive impact and helping individuals achieve an excellent quality of life, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Provide respectful personal care, practical, and emotional support to service users.
  • Assist service users in participating in the local community.
  • Develop warm, trusting relationships to help individuals thrive.
  • Work shifts over the weekend, including waking nights.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, families, and professionals to ensure coordinated and consistent service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 months’ experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Relevant professional qualification is desirable.
  • Warmth and a person-centred approach.
