Senior Support Worker
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Support Worker for our supported living service in Headington, Oxford. This full-time role offers up to £13.45 per hour and involves leading a team to support individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and mental health needs.
About the Role
As a Senior Support Worker at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you will lead a passionate team to provide person-centred care. You will work alongside the Project Manager to coordinate high-quality support, ensuring tenants are at the centre of all decisions. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and leading the team to enable tenants to have a high quality of life and be valued community members.
- Ensuring personal, practical, emotional and social support is delivered at all times.
- Assisting the Project Manager and Registered Manager in ensuring all residents receive the highest quality care.
Requirements
At least two years’ experience in providing care and support to people with a range of support needs is essential. As Senior Support Worker, you must demonstrate compassion, motivation, diligence, and empathy. You must be warm, well-organised, and conscientious with good verbal and written communication skills. You will work on a rota including early, late, and weekend duties.
