Job Description
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned mid-market accounts, serving as the primary point of contact
- Analyse client needs and provide expert advice on our products and services
- Create and implement strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and expand existing customer relationships
- Conduct regular client meetings and negotiations at senior management level
- Monitor key performance indicators and prepare detailed reports on account progress
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions and resolve any client issues
- Identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities within your portfolio
- Participate in the development and execution of marketing strategies for the mid-market segment
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge
- Experience working in a regulated environment and understanding of FCA requirements and compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in mid-market account management, preferably within a broker environment
- Strong understanding of the UK mid-market landscape and business challenges
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Proficiency in CRM systems and data analysis tools
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Strategic thinking and planning abilities with a focus on long-term account growth
- Self-motivated with a high degree of personal responsibility and a hands-on mentality
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
