About the Role
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] (LTx - lindustx.com) is our newly launched initiative within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] to build a portfolio of in-licensed clinical-stage assets. As Associate, Corporate Development, you’ll report into our VP Corporate Development and sit at the core of the deal team. You’ll run the engine of asset evaluation (from screening through to commercial diligence and deal structuring) and help build the materials that shape sponsor, investor, and board conversations.
This role is based in our London office near London Bridge, with an expectation that you’d be with the team in-person 3 days a week.
About You
- 2-3 years’ experience at a top strategy or life sciences consultancy, a biotech corporate development or BD team, or an investment role focused on healthcare.
- A medical degree, life sciences PhD, or similarly rigorous scientific background is strongly preferred.
- Strong commercial judgement: market sizing, rNPV valuation, competitive benchmarking.
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Clear writer, high ownership, AI- and LLM-fluent.
- Genuine interest in drug development and deal-making.
What You’ll Focus On
- Running asset identification sprints.
- Driving commercial diligence: peak sales modelling, competitive benchmarking, indication prioritisation, exit pathway analysis.
- Supporting scientific and regulatory diligence alongside CMO and external partners.
- Building materials: asset briefing docs, first-call question packs, sponsor outreach, data room review notes.
- Preparing investor and board materials: pitch decks, portfolio summaries, financial models.
- Supporting deal structuring and negotiation.
