Salary: £44,385.36 per year

Type: Full-time, On-site (Night shift 7pm-7am, rotating rota)

About the Role

As a Team Member 2 in the Packing Hall, you'll work as part of a team to run machinery, check product quality, and help maintain high production standards at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] factory.

Key Deliverables

  • Carry out all pre-start checks
  • Carry out product quality evaluations throughout the shift
  • Control and operate a variety of processes and equipment
  • Understand equipment and machinery set up
  • Work in a cross-functional working environment
  • Complete changeovers following correct procedure
  • Ensure documentation is filled in correctly
  • Complete shift handovers
  • Train peers and new operatives when required
  • Undertake basic problem diagnosis
  • Ensure efficient operation of packing equipment with quality inspections and safety
  • Maximise plant efficiency whilst minimising waste
  • Keep housekeeping and hygiene standards at the highest level
  • Support improvement initiatives
  • Occasionally hand pack and hand stack boxes
  • Cleaning duties

Essential Experience

  • Understanding of good manufacturing practices and safety at work procedures
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Open to learning and change

Desirable Experience

Experience working with food or machinery in a quality-focused factory is valuable, but not essential.
