Warehouse Team Member

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Warehouse Team Member at its Midlands Distribution Centre (MDC) in Ashby. This is a part-time, on-site role working 23 hours per week (Saturday 7:15am–7:15pm, Sunday 8am–8pm). Salary: £20,527.63 per year.

About the Role

As part of the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] family, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment managing inbound and outbound of finished goods. Your main responsibilities include receiving, picking, and loading finished products. You will receive two weeks of training for all Manual Handling Equipment (MHE). After six months probation, you will be issued a smart uniform and PPE.

Key Deliverables

  • 2 weeks training – FLT / Counterbalance / VNA / PPT
  • Report all accidents and near misses
  • Offloading finished goods and packaging
  • Loading finished goods onto trailers
  • Picking product from pick-face
  • Use of FLT / Counterbalance / PPT / VNA
  • Accurate receipt of stock into WMS system
  • Maximise warehouse efficiency and minimise waste
  • Quality inspections and safe working environment
  • Maintain high housekeeping and hygiene standards

Requirements

Essential: Experience with Counterbalance and PPT; understanding of GMP, HACCP and safety procedures; team work; positive attitude; flexibility; high hygiene standards. Desirable: In-date Counterbalance and PPT license (training provided otherwise).
