About the Role
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for a naturally caring and committed Clinical Deputy Manager to join the management team at Mill Lane Nursing Home. Mill Lane specialises in residential, nursing and dementia care for the elderly. The home has a warm and homely atmosphere and a reputation for high quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the home manager in all aspects of the home, including taking temporary charge in the manager's absence
- Support systems and procedures to ensure high quality care delivery
- Manage and monitor the planning and delivery of medication across the home
- Take an active role in auditing specific areas of care and contributing to action plans
- Update and maintain resident care plans, liaising with external parties
- Coach, support and inspire the care and nursing team
Requirements
- Current NMC registration
- Up-to-date knowledge of clinical practices
- Experience in writing detailed care plans including risk assessments and diet plans
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks including MCA/DoLs and CQC key lines of enquiries
