About the Role
Are you naturally caring and want to make a difference in people’s lives? If you are kind, compassionate and committed, we would love for you to lead our Activities team in our lovely nursing home, Cedar Court. Cedar Court offers 24-hour nursing, residential and dementia care for older people as well as care for younger people with physical disabilities in our specialist unit.
Responsibilities
- Designing and distributing newsletters to residents and family members, updating them on events and activities.
- Implementing a monthly calendar filled with engaging activities including arts and crafts, outside entertainment, themed days/nights, excursions and interactive games.
- Collaborating with the care team to support residents' social enhancement and maintain their sense of wellbeing.
- Promoting the home and events across social media channels, encouraging interaction and involvement with the local community.
