[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is part of the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. We are looking for a Live In Carer to provide high-quality, person-centred care in clients' own homes across London Boroughs, East Anglia and Sussex.

Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing, etc.)
• Supporting with the administering of medication
• Assisting with meal preparation
• Providing companionship and offering social interaction
• Carrying out light domestic tasks

Due to the nature of this role, good communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. Access to your own transport is an advantage but not essential.

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 6 months experience delivering personal care
• Flexible approach to work and the ability to manage priorities and work to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Demonstrate an ability to ensure confidentiality
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Level 2 health and social care diploma / apprenticeship framework is desirable but not essential
