Senior Care Assistant

- Type: Full-time (33 hours per week, includes alternate weekends)

Job Description
Are you a naturally caring person and want to help make a difference in people’s lives? If you are kind, compassionate and committed, we would love for you to join our care team at our lovely nursing home, Meadow House. Meadow House offers residential and nursing care to the Norfolk community. The facility also provides care for young people with disabilities and specialises in caring for individuals with multiple sclerosis. The home is entirely on the ground floor and has a very friendly atmosphere – where everyone is treated like family.
Responsibilities
- Supporting individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing, etc.)
- Providing companionship and offering social interaction
- Maintaining accurate resident records
- Administering prescribed medication and updating medication charts as applicable
- Supporting and leading our existing care team

About Meadow House
Meadow House is located in Swaffham, Norfolk. We provide residential and nursing care for elderly people. We also have a young person’s disability unit that specialises in care for people with multiple sclerosis. Our staff are proud to have a fantastic reputation in the local (and wider) community and to have won multiple awards for our home.
