About the role...

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Merchandiser to join our General Merchandise Merchandising team. The role will be based from our Customer Support in Walsall and offers the opportunity for hybrid working after training.

The Junior Merchandiser will support a Senior Merchandiser and Merchandiser to build a General Merchandise offer in our stores that delivers value through planning, process, and budgetary control.

Your Impact and Responsibilities...

• Merchandise one of the departments within the category from range build to implementation
• Oversee product range management and stock availability
• Forecast daily sales against KPIs
• Analyse historical and current sales information, recommend and implement actions
• Analyse weekly stock sales and intake (WSSI) and explore additional promotions
• Liaise with Suppliers to ensure optimal stock flow
• Work with stock allocation team to manage store availability

Skills and Knowledge...

• Previous experience as a Junior Merchandiser or Assistant Merchandiser within General Merchandise or Clothing retail
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts quickly
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
