FULL DESCRIPTION

Senior Programmer I/II/ Principal Programmer

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Senior or Principal Programmer to join our Projects Portfolio. This role involves providing programming support across a range of projects, clients, and therapeutic areas. You will author and validate SAS programs, manage projects, and line manage staff. Based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform review of clinical trial documents including protocols, SAPs, CRFs, CSRs
  • Author, review and approve study TFL shells and dataset specifications
  • Author, validate and document SAS programs for datasets, TFLs and macros
  • Identify data issues and outliers
  • Complete, review and approve CDISC Validation tool reports
  • Maintain study master file documents and other audit-ready documents
  • Line management, coaching and mentoring of staff
  • Oversight of key client projects and portfolios as [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Project Manager

Minimum Qualifications

  • BSc, MSc or PhD in numerical discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
  • At least 4 years (Senior) or 8 years (Principal) of relevant industry experience

Additional Requirements

  • Understanding of clinical drug development process
  • Awareness of ICH guidelines and industry standards
  • Proficiency in SAS or other statistical software (e.g. R)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Self-management and problem-solving abilities
