Teaching Assistant

Job Description
Within the classroom, Teaching Assistants contribute to a positive and well-organised learning environment. Support may include assisting with lesson delivery, providing small group or one-to-one input, and helping to maintain effective classroom routines. Flexibility, initiative, and clear communication are key when supporting pupils of varying abilities.
- Provides classroom-based support during lessons.
- Delivers small group or individual interventions.
- Supports classroom organisation and resources.
- Encourages positive behaviour and engagement.
Desired Experience + Qualifications
- Enhanced DBS certificate.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching/education qualifications.
- Previous experience within a school setting, particularly working with students in Year 3 or Year 1.
- Passion for creating an environment where every child's unique needs are met.
