Dual Fuel Commercial Metering Engineer (2 Different Roles)

This role offers two paths: Elite Engineer (includes Warrant Officer duties for debt visits) or Non-Elite Dual Fuel Engineer (metering only). Full-time, onsite position with salary up to £43,260 per year plus retention bonus. No visa sponsorship.

The Role & What We Need from Yü
You’ll work predominantly in the commercial sector, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of gas and electricity metering services. Depending on your role choice:
- Elite Engineers: Undertake friendly debt resolution visits; alternate between attending Warrants as the on-site engineer and acting as the Warrant Officer.
- Non-Elite (Dual Fuel Only): Focus purely on technical metering work — no Warrant or debt visits.
All engineers receive full technical support, ongoing mentoring, and opportunities to upskill in Three-Phase, Medium Pressure, Half-Hourly / CT Metering, Gas U16–U40. Future progression to Technical Lead, Quality Assessor, or Regional Field Manager.
Essential Qualifications / Experience
- Smart Metering (Dual Fuel) experience
- CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent)
- Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent)
- UK Driving Licence
- Pass a colour blindness test
- Pass a DBS check
Desirable: MET4, Current Transformer (CT), Three Phase, REGT1 – Medium Pressure.
