Reports to: Senior Commercial Manager

Location: Leicester LE3

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week

Compensation: £28,000 - £32,000 / year

The Role

In the role of Portfolio Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding service and long-term value across a portfolio of Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs) within the SME and Mid-Market sectors. You will bring experience in building strong, trust-based relationships, with a proven track record of enhancing client satisfaction and retention within the business utility sector.

You will work closely with your TPI partners to ensure our brand proposition and products are seamlessly embedded into their customer journey, resolving any challenges efficiently and effectively. What We Need from Yü

  • Accountable for managing Business Account customers accounts, including onboarding, billing, revenue management performance, and cash management performance.
  • Strengthen day-to-day client relationships through exceptional client service, in-depth knowledge of the client’s industry and business and impeccable delivery and client engagement.
  • Develop and manage key strategic relationships across key clients and stakeholders to drive successful engagement programs.
  • Ensure risks and opportunities are fully understood and communicated, identifying the best ways of mitigating the key risks and maximizing the key opportunities.
  • Support department-wide development initiatives.
  • Maintain and enhance knowledge of the energy industry.
  • Monitor competitive activity within the assigned customers, being alert to any opportunities and threats.
  • Analyse client needs and provides tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-department teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the line management and other stakeholders.
  • Manage and support projects from end to end.
  • Develop key relationships across the organisation and with third parties.
  • Train new starters on processes and policies.
  • Seek improvements in working processes and practices.
  • Confidently promote effective communication within the wider team and cross-departmental.
