Dual Fuel Commercial Metering Engineer

Compensation: £43,260 - £55,000 per year (realistic earning potential)
Reports to: Regional Field Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Safe installation, exchange, commissioning, removal, and maintenance of metering systems.
- Elite Engineers: Undertake friendly debt resolution visits and act as Warrant Officer on warrants.
- Non-Elite Engineers: Focus purely on technical metering work — no warrant or debt visits.
- Deliver friendly professional customer interactions.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
- Take accountability for stock, tools, and company vehicle.
- Participate in rotating shift patterns (6am-3pm, 8am-5pm, 11am-7pm).
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Smart Metering (Dual Fuel) experience
- CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent)
- Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent)
- UK Driving Licence
- Pass colour blindness test and DBS check
Desirable:
- MET4 – Small commercial gas metering
- Current Transformer (CT)
- Three Phase
- REGT1 – Medium Pressure
