Dual Fuel Commercial Metering Engineer

Salary Options

  • Elite Dual Fuel: £43,260 (Realistic earning potential £50K–£55K)
  • Dual Fuel Only (Non-Elite): £38,110
  • London Elite Dual Fuel: £45,320
  • London Dual Fuel Only: £40,170
  • Retention Bonus Scheme: Up to £60,000 payable after three years

The Role & What We Need from Yü

You'll work predominantly in the commercial sector, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of gas and electricity metering services.

  • Elite Engineers: Undertake friendly debt resolution visits, attend Warrants as on-site engineer and Warrant Officer.
  • Non-Elite (Dual Fuel Only): Focus purely on technical metering work — no Warrant or debt visits.

All engineers receive full technical support, ongoing mentoring, and opportunities to upskill in Three-Phase, Medium Pressure, Half-Hourly/CT Metering, Gas U16–U40. Future progression to Technical Lead, Quality Assessor, Regional Field Manager.

Essential Qualifications / Experience

  • Smart Metering (Dual Fuel) experience
  • CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent)
  • Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent)
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Pass colour blindness test and DBS check
