Project Manager - Manchester
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join their North West Region, based at Manchester, to lead the delivery of major construction projects ranging in value from £30m to £100m. This is a full permanent role over 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing project teams. Set clear expectations, foster a collaborative and accountable culture, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Health & Safety: Drive a safety-first culture, ensure full compliance with statutory requirements and company procedures.
- Project Delivery: Full accountability for delivering on time, within budget, to quality standards, and contractual obligations.
- Programme and Budget Control: Work with Project Planner and Commercial Team for accurate forecasting, progress tracking, and financial management.
- Design Management: Oversee effective management of the design process with the Design Manager.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure robust quality assurance using the company’s QA system (R Drive).
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Digital Construction: Champion the use of Digital Construction Tools, working with the Digital Construction team.
Key Skills and Experience Required
- Proven track record delivering construction projects in excess of £30m in commercial offices and/or multiroom (BTR/PBSA) sectors.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of contract administration (e.g. JCT, NEC).
- Competence in risk, cost, quality, and programme management.
- Working knowledge of digital construction tools (e.g. BIM, Common Data Environments such as 4 Projects).
- Demonstrable commitment to health and safety excellence.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and consultants.
Desirable Qualifications
- Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- Professional membership (e.g., MCIOB, RICS, APM).
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), and First Aid at Work certified.
