You will be part of a multi-skilled, highly trained team responsible for emergency response, fire safety, environmental incidents, and advanced first aid within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Main Duties

As an Emergency Response Officer, you will play a critical role in keeping people, property, and operations safe.

  • Provide a high-visibility, proactive security presence across the site
  • Respond rapidly to fire alarms, medical incidents, and environmental emergencies
  • Support the Emergency Response Team, including training and daily planning
  • Maintain and inspect specialist emergency equipment
  • Conduct patrols, searches, and incident reporting
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and security procedures

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Valid SIA Front Line Licence (or willingness to obtain – fully funded)
  • Ability to pass medical and fitness assessment (including breathing apparatus)
  • Strong communication skills and professional approach
  • Flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
  • Ability to pass security vetting and random drug/alcohol testing
  • Basic to intermediate IT skills

Desirable:

  • FREC 3 (First Response Emergency Care) qualification

Please note: Due to breathing apparatus requirements, candidates must be clean-shaven or maintain a tightly trimmed goatee-style beard for safety compliance.
