SOC Operator
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], the UK's leading facilities management company, is growing their B & Q Security Operations Centre and looking for people to join on a permanent basis. No previous experience needed – full training and funded CCTV SIA licence provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring CCTV cameras across B&Q sites and distribution centres.
- Incident reporting and analysis of footage.
- Maintaining accurate logs of incidents and actions.
- Ensuring equipment functions properly and reporting malfunctions.
- Collaboration with security personnel and law enforcement.
- End-to-end incident management including evidence gathering and report writing.
- Compliance with SOPs and SLAs.
- Professional telephone and email etiquette.
- Completing proactive CCTV assurance reviews.
Essential Skills & Requirements
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Technical proficiency with CCTV systems
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to work shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Clear understanding of data protection laws
- Experience in a security operations centre (desirable but training provided)
- SIA CCTV licence (training can be provided)
