FULL DESCRIPTION

Soft Services Manager

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Soft Services Manager to oversee the delivery of contract soft services including access control, helpdesk functions, and soft FM operations at The Shard, London. The role involves managing personnel, monitoring CAFM system, coordinating subcontractors, and improving service delivery.

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure all soft services are delivered in line with agreed processes, completing regular audits with QHSE support.
  • Manage directly employed personnel, ensuring HR, training and development practices are followed.
  • Monitor the CAFM system to ensure KPI/SLA compliance and effective workforce deployment.
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities, holding regular meetings and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and improve soft service delivery processes while maintaining strong performance reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to lead and manage multiple soft service teams.
  • Excellent organisational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and Maximo system use.
  • Professional, proactive approach with strong attention to confidentiality.
  • Able to work independently, use initiative, and manage changing priorities.
  • Due to the nature of this role, candidates must have a 10 year UK checkable work history and a British Passport.
