Job Description

To carry out production and assembly of Fire Doors in accordance with manufacture technical guidance and latest British and EN standards on small and large projects within capabilities across our Gravesend production facility. Ensuring all works are to a high standard within Health & Safety and Quality company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct production of fire doors to manufacturers guidance and in line with IFC third party accreditation.
• Record manufacturing of fire doors via reporting software.
• Work to surveys, third party specifications, risk assessment requirements, insurance and local authority notices.
• Work alone and as part of a team.
• Ensure safe transportation of door sets from production facility to site.
• Maintain safe working environment in accordance with Health and Safety system.
• Demonstrate understanding and commitment to Customer Care.
• Manual handling of fire doors.
• Removal of redundant fire doors for disposal.
• Ensure work area and storage area is always clean and tidy.

Person Specification

A driven and enthusiastic individual who relishes a challenging environment, can work under pressure and works well in a team or alone, with good communication skills. Minimum three years proven experience in fire door carpentry to industry standards. Demonstrable manual handling experience with good interpersonal skills.
