FULL DESCRIPTION

Security Supervisor

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Security Supervisor in Manchester. This is a full-time, permanent role with a 6 on 3 off rota pattern (3 days, 3 nights, 3 off), 12-hour shifts. Pay: £15 per hour. Reporting to the Manchester Site Security Manager. Based at Bank of New York, 4 Angel Square, Manchester.

Key Requirements

  • SIA License
  • First Aid trained & certificated
  • IT literate (MS Windows, MS Office)
  • Leadership and supervision skills
  • Experience with CCTV and Access Control systems (desirable)
  • Corporate Customer Services background (desirable)

Responsibilities

  • Protection of life, property, prevention of crime and loss
  • Lead and coordinate the site security team
  • Supervise security staff, assign duties, schedule shifts, monitor performance
  • Monitor serviceability of security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms)
  • Incident management: investigate, document, report security incidents
  • Training and development of security staff
  • Access control and credential verification
  • Risk assessment and security audits
  • Administrative duties and reporting
  • Coordination with local law enforcement and emergency services
  • Maintain customer service relations with client staff and visitors
