Forensic Custody Nurse or Paramedic - part time
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Forensic Custody Nurse or Paramedic to work part-time in custody suites based in Southend-On-Sea, in collaboration with the Police. The role involves delivering healthcare to detainees, requiring a minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant clinical setting such as A&E, General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Acute Medicine, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service. You must have a driving license and be flexible to work across an assigned region. Salary is £20,500 per year plus a £500 bonus after 12 months, with average overtime estimated at £3,500 per annum. - Shift Pattern: Fixed shifts: 06:45-19:00 (days) or 18:45-07:00 (nights), working in a team rota pattern of 2-day shifts on, 8 days off, 2 nights, 4 days off. Rolling rota available 2 years in advance.
