  • Hours: 36 hours per week (Tuesday to Friday 19:30 - 05:00)

About the Role

We are looking for a Hygiene Operative to provide excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] customer. The role holder will be responsible for meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.

In your new role, you will carry out general High Risk and Low Risk hygiene tasks including but not limited to washing equipment, walls, floor & overheads, mopping floors, belt cleaning & using scrubbing/sweeping equipment.

Requirements

  • Work as part of a team to maintain highest standards of visual and microbiological hygiene
  • Liaise closely with Hygiene Team Leader
  • Work with chemicals, ensuring containers are labelled and locked
  • Operate cleaning equipment and complete deep sanitation
  • Previous experience as a food manufacturing cleaner is desirable but not compulsory (full training provided)
  • Ability to dismantle equipment and machinery
  • Handle and use chemicals (subject to passing COSHH training)
  • IPAF desirable but not essential
