Job Description
We are looking for a Hygiene Operative to provide excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] customer. The role holder will be responsible for meeting all SLA agreements whilst adhering to the cleaning schedules.
In your new role, you will carry out general High Risk and Low Risk hygiene tasks including but not limited to washing equipment, walls, floor & overheads, mopping floors, belt cleaning & using scrubbing/sweeping equipment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general High Risk and Low Risk hygiene tasks
- Wash equipment, walls, floors, and overheads
- Mop floors and clean belts
- Use scrubbing and sweeping equipment
- Liaise closely with Hygiene Team Leader
- Handle chemicals safely and ensure proper labelling and locking
- Operate cleaning equipment and perform deep sanitation
Requirements
- Previous experience as a food manufacturing cleaner is desirable but not compulsory (full training provided)
- Ability to dismantle equipment and machinery
- Ability to handle and use chemicals (must pass COSHH training)
- IPAF desirable but not essential
- Team player with attention to detail
