FULL DESCRIPTION

Workplace Host – Guest & Community Experience

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] - London - Full-time - £16.50/hour

About the Role

At Signature, we don't just run workplaces, we create experiences that people remember. We promote the welcoming environment for people to connect. Our Guest Experience & Community Hosts are Moment Makers. The people who bring energy to reception, turn everyday interactions into memorable moments and help create workplaces where employees and guests feel welcomed, supported and inspired. This is a dynamic, people-focused role where you'll spend your day moving throughout the workplace - welcoming visitors, supporting events, engaging with employees and spotting opportunities to improve the experience. You'll act as the eyes and ears of the workplace, helping ensure everything runs smoothly while creating a positive and welcoming environment for everyone on site. At Signature, we believe in identifying friction before it becomes feedback.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering an exceptional welcome – creating a warm, confident first impression for all employees, visitors and guests arriving on site, ensuring every interaction feels professional, friendly and personal.
  • Managing the visitor journey – supporting visitor registration and check-in, helping guests navigate the workplace and ensuring every visit runs smoothly from arrival through to departure.
  • Creating memorable everyday interactions – turning simple moments such as elevator journeys, workplace encounters and reception interactions into positive, engaging experiences.
  • Supporting workplace events and activations – assisting with the setup, coordination and delivery of workplace events, helping create an engaging and vibrant community within the building.
  • Bringing creativity to the workplace – contributing ideas, content and storytelling that help bring the workplace culture to life and create moments that employees remember.
  • Acting as the eyes and ears of the workplace – proactively observing the environment to identify operational issues, service gaps or opportunities to improve the experience before they impact employees or guests.
  • Proactively resolving or escalating issues – logging and escalating workplace issues through the appropriate systems to ensure they are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Supporting workplace operations and coordination – assisting with meeting room coordination, workplace administration and maintaining high presentation standards across guest-facing spaces.

Who This Role is Perfect For

You don't need previous workplace experience to apply. What matters most to us is your personality, energy and mindset. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with people, brings warmth and confidence, notices details, enjoys being active and proactive, and takes pride in creating welcoming environments. If you have experience in hospitality, retail, events or customer service, that's great — but it's not essential. At Signature, we can teach the skills. What we're really looking for are the right behaviours and attitude.

What We'll Give You

  • 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
  • Company sick pay
  • Access to Virtual GP (including your family)
  • Access to our benefits platform and MiDeal discounts
  • Recognition programmes that celebrate the moments you create
  • Access to Signature training and development programmes designed to help you grow your workplace experience and hospitality skills
  • Access to Facilities Management development programmes
