FULL DESCRIPTION

Site Manager

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Careers - [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] (part of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group) is seeking a Site Manager for fire suppression and detection projects in London & Home Counties. This is a full-time, on-site position with a closing date of 29 May 2026.

Duties

  • Directly responsible to the Project Manager and Operations Manager
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical fire protection / gas suppression / fire detection systems
  • Oversee site installation sub-contractors through site inspections, safe working, method statements, risk assessments, housekeeping, work permits, progress, construction drawings
  • Deliver regular site safety toolbox talks
  • Liaise with client representatives at site level including progress meetings, safety meetings, planning, snagging
  • Liaise with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] project team members and management
  • Carry out regular installation snagging inspections and complete paperwork
  • Complete regular safety checks on site equipment
  • Work remotely on sites within the UK

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Manager of fire suppression system projects
  • Competent in MS Outlook and MS Office
  • Good working knowledge of electrical installation practices and methods
  • Good working knowledge of fire suppression products and alarm system design, commissioning and cause and effect testing
  • Good working knowledge of BSEN12845, BS990 & BS9251
  • SMSTS qualification
  • Good appreciation of construction health and safety protocols
  • Clean UK driving licence

Desirable

  • NVQ level 3 qualification (can be provided after probation)

Skills and Behaviours

  • Ability to effectively plan own and others work
  • Ability to travel to sites within the UK and stay away from home
