Security Officer

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is recruiting a Security Officer in Southport. This is a full-time, on-site role with rotating shifts (0600-1800 / 1800-0600) on a 3 days, 3 nights, 3 off pattern.

Job Overview

To protect our customer's property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions (AIs) and any subsequent changes. Delivering results that meet and/or exceed Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer through full responsibility and accountability, providing a service that aids in the retention of the contract. To undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development.

Main Duties

  • Ensure compliance with all policies and legal/regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and in accordance with UK Law.
  • Fully complete tasks defined within Assignment Instructions (AIs).
  • Proactively review AIs to suggest improvements.
  • Obtain and maintain SIA front-line licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and CCTV PSS SIA licence (required).
  • Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements.
  • Complete training and continuous professional development.
  • Report health & safety hazards, stay alert to threats, maintain professional conduct.
  • Complete incident reports and ensure check calls are carried out.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous Security Experience
  • Door Supervisor SIA License (essential)
  • CCTV License (desirable)
  • SC Clearance (desirable)
