Job Overview

We are looking for a professional and adaptable Site Protection Officer (SPO) to provide exceptional security cover across a [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Distribution Centres in Enfield. As an SPO, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure working environment for staff, visitors, and contractors, protecting company assets, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality service across all DCs. You will be required to work flexibly across days, nights, and weekends, including short-notice cover when required. Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide professional security cover across the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Distribution Centre.
- Deliver outstanding customer service in line with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] key values.
- Maintain professional standards of appearance, conduct, and incident reporting.
- Monitor access control systems, CCTV, and vehicle movements in accordance with site procedures.
- Conduct regular internal and external patrols to ensure site safety and security.
- Support the prevention and investigation of theft, stock loss, and unauthorised access.
- Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following site protocols.
- Assist site management and permanent SPO teams to maintain smooth and compliant operations.
- Work flexibly to meet operational requirements, including short-notice assignments.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and company security policies.
Person Specification
- Literate and numerate with strong attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and high personal standards.
- Adaptable, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent and clear verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Calm under pressure with a positive, “can-do” attitude.
- Must hold a valid front-line SIA Licence.
- Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle.
