Job Overview

To protect our customer's property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes. Delivering results that meet and / or exceed the Key performance indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer through full responsibility and accountability, providing a service that aids in the retention of the contract. To undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development.

Main Duties

  • Operations: Ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements as directed by Security Account Manager and UK law.
  • Complete all tasks defined in Assignment Instructions.
  • Proactively review Assignment Instructions and suggest improvements.
  • Obtain and maintain front-line SIA licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and CCTV PSS SIA licence.
  • Comply with legal obligations and safety requirements.
  • Follow instructions and work systematically.

Training

  • Complete required competency training.
  • Undertake continuous professional development as directed by Security Account Manager.
  • Use technology to achieve work objectives.
  • Renew SIA licence 16 weeks before expiry.

Security and Health & Safety

  • Report any Health & Safety hazards immediately.
  • Stay alert to threats and take appropriate action.
  • Use common sense and involve others in threatening situations.
  • Maintain professional conduct with difficult customers.
  • Complete detailed notebook entries for incidents.
  • Keep to schedules and demonstrate commitment to [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and the Client.
  • Ensure check calls are carried out as per Assignment Instructions.
  • Call emergency services and Communication Centre when needed.
