Passive Fire Protection Quantity Surveyor

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Fire Protection is an established, accredited business within [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] FS UK Ltd, delivering passive fire protection and fire door installation, remediation, and maintenance across the UK. We're growing — and we're looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team.

  • Location: National coverage – hybrid working available
  • Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience
  • Closing Date: 24 May 2026

What you'll be doing:

  • Preparing and reviewing tender documentation, cost plans, and valuations
  • Managing applications for payment, variations, and final accounts
  • Assisting with procurement and subcontractor management
  • Supporting contract negotiations and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Ensuring compliance with company processes and third-party accreditations (FIRAS, ASFP, etc.)
  • Collaborating closely with Operations and Finance to track project performance

What we're looking for:

  • Experience within fire protection, construction, or building services (fire doors or fire stopping experience would be an advantage)
  • A strong understanding of commercial processes, contracts, and cost management
  • Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with data and reports
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Someone proactive, professional, and ready to grow within a supportive team
