Role Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of electrical and mechanical building services equipment.
• Diagnose faults using technical manuals, drawings, and diagnostic tools to restore systems efficiently.
• Support critical building systems including power distribution, lighting, motor controls, standby generators, and fire alarm/PA systems.
• Conduct inspections, identify defects or warning indicators, and take corrective action to prevent system failures.
• Work collaboratively within a balanced shift team to provide 24/7 coverage and maintain service continuity across the estate.

Required Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 Electrical - ESSENTIAL
• City and Guilds level 3
• Recognised electrical apprenticeship
• IEE 18th Edition certification
• Minimum two years' post-apprenticeship experience in a similar building services environment
• C&G 2391 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential
• Ability to pass full intrusive security vetting (mandatory)
